Fire burns Highway 58 quadruplex

HARRISON, Tennessee (WDEF) – Four adults and two children are now without a home after a fire this morning.

The fire destroyed a quadruplex off Millard Lee Lane in Hamilton County this morning.

When Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department arrived on scene, flames were already visible out the front and back of the building.

Four other departments helped put out the fire. Highway 58 firefighters were grateful for their assistance.

Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Captain Casey Jones told us “We would’ve just worked with as much limited man power as we have, putting as much fire out as we could. I can’t exactly tell you the outcome of it one way or the other, but without the help, I know that we’d probably be in a worse situation.”

Officials say the fire was accidental and started in the kitchen. No one was hurt.
