Fire destroys house in Sale Creek
SALE CREEK, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Sunday afternoon, a motorists called 911 reporting a fire underneath a house at 515 Coleman Cemetery Road. When the Sale Creek VFD arrived, the house and a car was fully on fire.
The Sale Creek VFD made a defensive attack to contain the fire.
No injuries were reported, but a HCEMS medic stood by for any potential injuries to first responders.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Sale Creek VFD Fire Chief, Adam Gaither, there was no reported electricity at the home. The homeowners were using generators and propane tanks to power the house.
The Red Cross was requested to help two adults with their emergency needs.
