Fire destroys Signal Mountain home

Signal Mountain, Tenn. (WDEF) — Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services responded to a house fire on Fairmont Pike around 5 pm after a neighbor reported a house on fire.

Officials say they arrived on scene to find a fully involved house fire.

According to fire officials, no one was currently living in the home and the fire had been burning for awhile.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Fire officials say the house is a total loss and valued at $40,000.

Lone Oak Fire and Signal Mountain Fire were also on the scene.

No injuries were reported.
