Firefighters put out small fire at Logan’s Roadhouse

LOOKOUT VALLEY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga Fire Department was called to Logan’s Roadhouse on Cummings Highway in Lookout Valley shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Fire officials say the restaurant was quickly evacuated when the smoke alarm activated.

The small fire was located in the hood system that is over the grill, according to Battalion Chief Chris Willmore.

Chattanooga Fire officials report firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly which prevented serious damage to the structure.

No injuries were reported.

The Chattanooga Fire Department says the estimated dollar loss to be $2,000.

The restaurant was expected to be closed for the remainder of Sunday and part of Monday, fire officials say.
