Five arrested in Cleveland heroin bust

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Cleveland Police Department says agents seized 50 grams of heroin in a bust last Friday.

This effort was a joint operation with the Cleveland Police Department and the 10th Judicial District Drug Task Force.

Cleveland Police say the heroin seized has a street value of $20,000.

According to the department, five people were arrested during the bust.

Police say these five individuals were directly involved with transporting heroin from Detroit, Michigan and distributing the in Cleveland.

Joesph Pike of Charleston, Tenn.; Karen Lyles of Cleveland, Tenn.; Demondrae Smith of Detroit, Michigan.; and Leon Fenderson also of Detroit were arrested on heroin-related drug charges.

Camisha Tolbert was arrested on marijuana-related drug charges.
