Former Red Bank Officer indicted for operating patrol vehicle intoxicated
A former Red Bank officer has been indicted for allegedly operating a patrol vehicle while intoxicated.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Hamilton County Sheriff Austin Garrett and Hamilton County District Attorney General Coty Wamp have announced the grand jury indictment of former Red Bank Police Officer Brantley Young for Driving Under the Influence and Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence.
They say a joint investigation by the HCSO Criminal Investigations Unit and Traffic Investigations Unit into a January 2026 incident involving a suspicion that Young was operating a patrol vehicle under the influence resulted in grand jurors indicting Young.
Young was booked into the Hamilton County Jail & Detention Center on June 26, 2026.
