Four people arrested in Catoosa County drug bust

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Four people have been arrested after Catoosa County Sheriff deputies shuts down an alleged drug operation.

Catoosa County deputies arrived at a home in the 900 block of Boynton Drive to look for a man with an outstanding arrest warrant, but Sheriff Gary Sisk says his deputies quickly stumbled upon illegal drug activity.

“While inside the home, they saw fruits of another crime of drugs and drug paraphernalia, so they went a little bit further and actually ended up arrested four individuals in the house,” Sisk said.

The four people arrested have been identified as Robert Brooks, William Holcomb, Kara Murdock and Kelle Schorle.

According to the arrest report,  Deputies also found illegal pills.

“Some of it was manufacturing. We were able to put enough together to show that they were distributing the drugs,” Sisk said.

In addition to illegal drugs in the home, deputies also found large amounts of cash and several weapons.
