Franklin County Mayor in Stable Condition After Heart Attack
Nashville (WDEF) – The Mayor of Franklin County is recovering after suffering a heart attack on Sunday.
Richard Stewart was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center after suffering the attack around noon.
Family members report that surgeons planned to ease two heart blockages this afternoon.
His son, Eric, tells the Herald Chronicle that it was a mild heart attack and his father should be ready to get back to work soon.
