Fugitive company employee was a jailer charged with misconduct
CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Cleveland Daily Banner has been looking into the history of the two men charged with kidnapping and assaulting a 13 year old boy at the Bradley Central High ballfields this week.
Gary Black and Tristan Palmer says they work for a fugitive recovery company and were told to give the juvenile a “boot camp” experience.
Witnesses say they had him in handcuffs and were making him run laps and pushing tires.
Now the newspaper says Black has a history with the Sheriff’s Office that arrested him.
The say he was a corrections officer who was indicted in 2016.
The charge was official misconduct over the hanging death of an inmate.
