Funeral Procession route for Petty Officer 2nd Class Randall Scott Smith

Fort Oglethorpe, GA (WDEF) – Fort Oglethorpe and Chattanooga get ready to say good-bye to Petty Officer 2nd Class Randall Scott Smith.
    He was one of five people killed July 16th at the Reserve Center on Amnicola Highway.
    Visitation for the husband and father of three happens Tuesday from 10am until 2pm at the First Baptist Church of Fort Oglethorpe.
    His funeral will follow.
    Church officials tell us parking at the church is reserved for family and friends of the Smith family.
    The public should access First Baptist Church via Gilbert Drive.
    Lafayette Road in front of First Baptist will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
    The funeral procession should begin at approximately 2:45 Tuesday afternoon.
    It will run from First Baptist Church on Lafayette Road North to Battlefield Parkway.
    From there to I-75 North to Highway 153 North.
    The procession will then take Amnicola Highway to Wilcox Boulevard, to Holtzclaw Avenue and then into the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
    Officials urge non-processional traffic to avoid these sections of I-75 and Highway 153 between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
