Garth Brooks Adds Second Nashville Stadium Show
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) — Country music star Garth Brooks is adding another show to his Nashville stop on his stadium tour.
It’ll be Friday night, April 15, in addition to his rescheduled show at Nissan Stadium the next night.
More than 70,000 fans had to leave last year’s concert early because of bad weather.
Garth told News 12 he wanted to add an opening night so fans could get better seats.
He says they’ll only sell ones in the lower bowl for this new show.
“There could be 500 people there. I don’t know, but it doesn’t matter to me,” Brooks said. “What I’m going to be really happy about is anybody that wants a great seat, it’s guaranteed to happen on this one.”
This is no April Fools’ joke – you can get tickets for Garth’s new show through Ticketmaster starting this Friday, April 1 at 11 a.m. EST.
They cost about $95, all inclusive.
Brooks says this is the last year for the stadium run, but he doesn’t know what’s next after the tour wraps up just yet.
“We’ve been talking about that. I have not a clue,” he said. “We’ll figure out what we’re going to do. I’d like to look at residencies, but the truth is I love that band and crew. I just want to spend all of my time with them. They’re fun, so we’ll figure out some way – Dive Bar Tour, whatever. We’ll end up being together.”
