GBI Autopsy Report in for Child Left in Car

Atlanta (WDEF) – The GBI Crime Lab has released the official cause of death for the infant who was left in a car on Saturday in Walker County.

Sheriff Steve Wilson reports the autopsy revealed eleven month old Jaxon Taylor died from hyperthermia, due to exposure to a hot environment.

The toxicology and other test results will take up to six weeks to complete.

The investigation is continuing.
