Georgia Kicker Rodrigo Blankenship Wins Lou Groza Award

Georgia kicker Rodrigo Blankenship won the Lou Groza award on Thursday, which goes to the nation’s top place-kicker. Hotrod is the first Georgia kicker to ever win the award. Blankenship made 25 of 31 field goals this season, and he is the Bulldogs all time leading scorer with 432 points. He also tied the SEC record for consecutive extra points with 198.
