Georgia Has to “Knuckle Up” Saturday Against LSU

Georgia gets their toughest test of the year Saturday in perhaps the toughest environment in the SEC, as the Dawgs travel to LSU.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart knows what is team is walking into Saturday at Death Valley.
Said Smart:”They’ve got an incredible environment. Their fan base is really second to none.”
Said LSU head coach Ed Orgeron:”Crowds will be there to show everybody that Tiger Stadium is the best place in the country to play.”
Said Smart:”Great atmosphere. Incredible atmosphere. Of course I got to coach there a year, so I got to experience that atmosphere there at home. They’ve got a great fan base.”
The crowd will be excited, but Smart is not too excited about facing the Tigers physical running game.
Said Smart:”They better knuckle up because it’s going to be physical. Tough. Hard nosed football team. They have a big offensive line. They’ve got big fullbacks. They’ve got big tight ends. They’ve got big backs. They’ve got big people. That’s the way LSU is built. As far as the question, our defense and our defensive line have. They will be answered this week for sure when we go out there and play these guys.”
The Tigers defense will have to knuckle up too.
Georgia leads the SEC in rushing.
Said Orgeron:”This is the best offensive line that we have seen so far. That 53 center Lamont Gailliard is the best center I’ve seen in awhile. They are going to line up and try to maul you. Run right at you. And then they have speed sweeps they can get around the edge with the bunch toss. Looks like they have five or six backs that can play in the NFL.”

Georgia and LSU kick at 3:30pm Saturday, and the game will be televised on News 12 Now.
