Georgia Man Found With Explosives

Authorities in the Atlanta, Georgia area say a man has been arrested after explosives were found in his home.

Authorities say 30-year-old Andrew Davidson was charged with conspiracy to commit an offense involving explosives after residents showed deputies video of what they believed was an explosion.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that residents felt an explosion near their homes back in February.

Davidson was identified as the suspect and authorities searched the home and found he had detonated an improvised device.

Cherokee County sheriff’s Sgt. Marianne Kelley said in a statement that the suspect had explosive materials, which when mixed together could make an explosive device.

It’s unclear if Davidson has a lawyer.
