Georgia man gets life in prison for dealing meth in East Tennessee

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Federal judge Travis McDonough in Chattanooga handed out a life sentence in a drug case.

59 year old James Hedelsky of Bartow County was sentenced on his conviction of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams of meth back in September.

He was arrested in July of 2015 at a shopping center in Tullahoma.

Judge McDonough says the sentence was based on Hedelsky’s criminal history which includes multiple drug convictions, manslaughter, and assault.
