Georgia Needs a Victory in the Belk Bowl For a Ten Win Season

The regular season did not go as planned for Georgia.
The Dawgs failed to win the very winnable SEC East.
Now Georgia will at least try to end the year on a positive note with a win over Louisville in the Belk Bowl.
While Georgia has more time to prepare for Louisville, the outcome is determined by the same football factors.
Said head coach Mark Richt,"It’s always a battle of scheme. It’s a battle of energy and effort and fundamentals. Taking care of business."
The Dawgs need to beat the Cardinals to achieve their tenth win of the year.
Said quarterback Hutson Mason,"It means a lot. I think ten wins is something to be proud of. Not a lot of teams in Georgia history have won ten games."
Nobody scored more points in the SEC regular season than Georgia.
And Hutson Mason wants to keep the offensive machine going.
"A chance to be one of the best offenses in Georgia history. That means a lot to me and to all the other guys. The seniors. You can’t take that away from somebody when they go and look back at their career at Georgia."
The Belk Bowl will also be a reunion bowl.
Georgia will face their former defensive coordinator in Todd Grantham.
Said defensive lineman Toby Johnson,"I’m excited to get a chance to play Grantham. I’m not making it a big thing though. I just want to go out and get the win."
The game will also be a homecoming for Georgia tight end Jeb Blazevich, who hails from Charlotte.
"My mom actually called the ticket office and said we need a little Charlotte Christian family and friends section. Might have a little crowd there."
The Belk Bowl kicks at 6:30pm on Tuesday, December 30th in Charlotte.
