German Business Delegation Visits Chattanooga for Possible Economic Growth

    Dozens of representatives from Germany are in Chattanooga to discuss the possibility of more development.
The Economic Minister of the German State Lower Saxony sat with Chattanooga Volkswagen and other German company leaders yesterday.
They say Chattanooga is becoming a great potential investment option for them.
Volkswagen’s Public Relations Manager Scott Wilson says Chattanooga already has eight supplier companies.
And with Volkswagen’s expansion to build the new SUV, they hope to attract even more.
"These are all business colleagues from lower Saxony these are business people who maybe there’s something they can do here in Chattanooga maybe there’s some partnerships that can be formed or vice versa, maybe Chattanooga can work in Germany.  It’s all about relationship building," said Wilson.
Wilson says theres going to be announcements down the line of new vendors coming to town but wouldn’t specify what those are.
