Gordon Co. Teen Hit by Car/Killed
According to Georgia State Patrol, 14-year-old Elizabeth Seacrest was riding on her bike around 5:30 pm. when she lost control and fell in front of the oncoming vehicle.
The driver of the jeep Christopher Williams was charged for driving without a license.
The passenger Candice Cromer is the car’s owner.
She was arrested for allowing an unlicensed person drive her car and for not having insurance, all traffic violations.
Seacrest’s mother says that isn’t enough.
"I think if he hadn’t been driving with no license and no insurance on his vehicle, he wouldn’t have been there to hit my child," said the mother.
Investigators are waiting on further information from their Specialized Crash Reconstruction team before they make a final decision on charges.
Funeral arrangements are set for Sunday, Nov. 9th 3:30 pm. NorthPointe Church, Adairsville, GA. 30 Orchard Rd. 30103
