Governor Lee Visits Chattanooga State
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Tennessee Governor Bill Lee was in Chattanooga today touring the Chattanooga State campus.
He went through the Wacker Institute and Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology buildings on the campus.
This was one of two community colleges he visited today along with Pellissippi State in Knoxville.
He met with faculty and students and learned about the various programs on offer at the school.
Governor Lee said, “They’re designing programming that is technical, vocational programming, that is actually going to give people the skills they need to go get the jobs they want.”
Some of the programs he visited included Wacker’s Chemical engineering lab, robotics center, and automotive center.
