Governor promotes local judge

Tom Greenholtz appointed to Court of Criminal Appeals

HAMILTON COUNTY (WDEF) – A Hamilton County judge has been appointed to a state level position.

 

Judge Tom Greenholtz, who has been serving as a criminal court judge in Hamilton County, was appointed to the Court of Criminal Appeals for the Eastern Division by Governor Bill Lee.

 

Officials say he will be succeeding Judge Norma McGee Ogle.

 

In his statement, the Governor said “I am confident they will serve our state with the highest integrity.”

 

Judge Greenholtz will assume his new role on September 1st.
