CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Teens got a hands-on outlet to express their creativity today.
The Hunter Art Museum hosts programs for kids of all ages.
Today, a group of teens got to work on ceramic art and screen printing to explore their artistic sides.
If you missed today’s session, there are still many more opportunities to come.
Athena Jones, Hunter Museum Manager of Outreach and Access Programs told us,
“Today we have our teen workshops. The kids are getting to explore ceramics and print making. They’ll do three projects over the course day this morning. They got to make a ceramic vessel and this afternoon they’re working on relief print making and then hopefully we’ll have time for screen printing, and mono printing as well.”
The Hunter Museum is hosting an “Art After Dark” program on the 11th of July. It’s aimed at kids aged 12 to 18. It’s free for teens, but pre-registration is required.
