Grace Baptist holds active shooter drill

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Grace Baptist Academy held a large scale active shooter drill to practice what would happen if the worst were to occur.

Chattanooga Fire, Chattanooga Police, and Hamilton County Emergency Services took the students of the high school through a full-scale drill, including lock down and evacuation.

The drill took a few hours and involved dozens of personnel.

The coordinated effort took months of planning and involved over 150 of the academy’s students.

Grace Headmaster Matt Pollock thanked the authorities who helped with the drill and the students for cooperating to make it a success.
