Grundy Co. Searching for Suspected Vehicle Involved in Shooting

GRUNDY COUNTY — The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) is searching for a 2004 Black Silverado in the Palmer area, which is suspected to be involved in a shooting that occurred on January 29, 2026.

The vehicle was possibly driven by Chris Crabtree, the GCSO says.

If you see this vehicle DO NOT approach. Please call Grundy County dispatch at 931-924-2077 or 911.

All named people are innocent until proven guilty.
