Hamilton Co. returns to 5 days a week in class

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Hamilton County schools are returning to 5 days a week in class starting next week, for most schools.

However, all students are still off for Presidents Day on Monday.

K-12 students will attend in person all week, while Home students continue their remote learning.

The current Phase Tracker level is 0.43% based on the five day Covid-19 numbers for Hamilton County, which puts the schools in Phase 3.

“We are thrilled to be able to welcome back our in-person students five days a week. It is imperative that we remain vigilant to continue the decline of COVID-19 spread in our community. Please remember to follow the healthy behaviors outlined in the HCS SAFE Pledge including wearing a mask, washing your hands, and keeping distance when possible.”
