Hamilton Co. School Board to discuss future of school system
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Hamilton County School Board meeting is underway where they will discuss the future of the school system.
The school board meeting is pretty packed with members of the public.
News 12 talked to the school board chairman before the meeting, and he said the agenda is pretty standard. Although, we will see if any community members bring up issues or voice their concerns.
Yesterday, at his State of the School address, Superintendent Bryan Johnson spoke about what is next for the school district. One of those topics was developing a long term plan for the $200 plus million dollars worth of capital needs.
Updates will be available throughout the night as tonight’s meeting continues.
