Hamilton County Courts upgrade record access system

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The public will now have easier access to court records.

Hamilton County has enrolled in the Vinelink Program to provide electronic victim notification services.

VINE allows interested parties including victims to keep direct track of current court cases and the status of defendants.

The Court says that this will help them modernize and make their system more efficient.

Hamilton County General Sessions Judge Alex McVeagh said, “This is a great tool to assist anyone in the public, but also victims, witnesses, other folks who want to know what is going on in a certain case, to make sure they are up to speed with everything that is happening in our court system.”
