Hamilton Heights Christian Academy

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hamilton Heights Christian Academy is a small school, that’s producing some big results.

The private school is known for its excellence in academics, and high grade point averages.

But the campus is also producing world class athletes.

Science Teacher Jason Miller says because the school is smaller, it allows them to work with students on a personal level.

“The teachers have the opportunity to interact with the students in a different way than what we could in a public school.”

The school is well known for its basketball programs, but academics are very important.

School officials say they were an academic institution long before they became known for athletics.
