Hamilton Place gets ready for Sunday’s Chattanooga Strong Parade

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Hamilton Place Mall will hold "Chattanooga Strong" parade Sunday evening, beginning at 6:30pm.
    The Salvation Army teamed up with the mall to put on the patriotic themed parade.
    A special ‘tribute zone’ will be set up along the parade route for local non-profit organizations to share information and raise funds to help those affected by the Chattanooga terror attack.
    Catharine Wells serves as Hamilton Place Spokesperson.   She said, "It’s really a venue for families to come out and participate.  Everybody’s encouraged to wear red, white and blue, bring their flags.  We’re going to be handing out flags to participants.  the route will take pretty much the same route that we do for the holiday parade every year."
    The parade kicks off a week of special events to honor armed forces past and present.
    The Tennessee Vietnam Memorial Wall will also be on display at the mall this week.
