Hamilton Sings

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Elementary school students in Hamilton County got a chance to share the sweet sounds of music.

They took part in an event called “Hamilton Sings,” by uniting the community with their voices.

That event included 5th graders from all across Hamilton county.

Charlene Cook is the Chairperson of Hamilton Sings.

“It is at an all-county music event where kids come together from all the different schools in the system and make music. We need so much in our in this day and time to get kids to know each other from all backgrounds from all parts of the county from socio-economic diversity and county diversity. It’s so important to start early letting them know that those people from the other part of the
county they’re okay, they’re great people.”
