HCS board members approve calendar change recommendations
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hamilton County School Board Members voted and approved a calendar change during their meeting on Thursday.
The change was recommended by board members Joe Smith and Tiffanie Robinson as a reward for teachers’ hard work.
They said that the teachers and leaders are going above and beyond, making heroic efforts to meet the needs of students and families during this stressful time.
The calendar adjustments, would absorb three stockpile days, and leave five days for inclement weather or other emergencies.
October 9, 2020 – No school
November 11, 2020 – Remote Day
November 23-24, 2020 – No school
December 18, 2020 – Remote Day
February 3, 2021 – Remote Day
