HCSO, CPD, & THP participate in Tip-A-Cop at Chuy’s

 

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Local law enforcement agencies participated in a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser held at a local restaurant.

Authorities with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO), Chattanooga Police Department (CPD), and Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), took part in this fundraiser.

This event was held at Chuy’s Tex Mex Restaurant off of Gunbarrel.

HCSO stated that this event is held in partnership with the Tennessee Law Enforcement Torch Run, seeking to raise awareness and financial support for the Special Olympics and its athletes.

Over 150,000 law enforcement personnel across the global carry the carry the “Flame of Hope” during the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

If you missed the lunch rush, you can still stop by for dinner.

CPD officers will be serving from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
