HCSO investigating shooting death in Middle Valley.
HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF)- A man is dead after a shooting incident Friday night in Middle Valley.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says they were called to the 7400 block of Irongate Drive off of Gadd Road shortly after midnight Saturday morning.
After responding, deputies located a man with a fatal gunshot wound.
A homicide investigation is ongoing into the incident, and the Sheriff’s Office says there is a witness who is cooperating with police.
They say there is no active threat to the public related to this incident.
