UPDATE: HCSO has one brother in custody; one still wanted
Hamilton County, Tenn. (WDEF) — As of Saturday morning, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says one of the two brothers on their Top 12 Most Wanted List is now in custody.
HCSO says deputies took Charles Larry Ashley into custody in the 1100 block of Mowbray Pike on Mowbray Mountain.
His brother, John Travis Ashley, remains on the Top 12 Most Wanted List. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 423-209-7150 or 423-622-0022; ask to speak with the HCSO Fugitive on-call Detective.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, SWAT was called in as Charles Larry Ashley was held up in a motorhome and was refusing to surrender.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says cooperation of concerned citizens helped.
Charles Larry Ashley is being held at the Hamilton County Jail awaiting booking on Aggravated Assault and Car Jacking, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office also says he has a hold for Sequatchie County.
Hamilton County, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating 34 year old Charles Larry Ashley and 30 year old John Travis Ashley.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, both men are wanted for aggravated assault and carjacking.
The sheriff’s office says the brothers are known to run together.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says the brothers have been seen in the Mowbray Mountain area as well as in Sequatchie and Bledsoe counties.
