HCSO Recognizes Ten New Corrections Deputies

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Ten new corrections deputies were recognized at the Corrections Academy Graduation Ceremony for Class 25-04 on December 19, 2025.

The graduates completed 292 hours of comprehensive training in general corrections operations, legal studies, firearms proficiency, physical fitness and endurance, and self-defense tactics, according to the HCSO/

This exceeds the minimum training requirements established by the Tennessee Corrections Institute (TCI), according to the HCSO.

Hamilton County Sessions Court Judge Gary Starnes provided the oath of office to the graduates during the ceremony.

The graduates of Corrections Academy Class 25-04 are as follows:

  • Deputy Carter Case
  • Deputy Santos Hernandez-Solis
  • Deputy Cameron Natale
  • Deputy Eduardo Ramirez-Lucas
  • Deputy Luis Rivera
  • Deputy Yuriy Saprychev
  • Deputy Hunter Vanhorn
  • Deputy Donavan Weaver

Sheriff Austin Garrett and Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Corrections Services hosted the graduation ceremony.
