Health Dept. warns about Hepatitis A exposure at two local jails

“The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Health Department would like other women who were in the two facilities on July 26 and 27 to be aware that the health department is offering hepatitis A vaccine for free on a walk-in basis at any of the 5 health department clinics around the county. The women do not need to tell clinical staff that they were even incarcerated, just simply take advantage of our free vaccine program at one of our convenient clinics. The health department hopes the people they cannot contact directly will hear this public message.”
