Wear Red For Heart Disease Awareness

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Communities across the nation are wearing red on Friday to help raise awareness of heart disease.
February is declared as National Heart Month.
February 2 honors ‘National Wear Red Day,’ as an initiative focused on spreading awareness of heart heath– especially in women.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women. Experts say there are a few key ways to help keep your heart healthy.
That means making healthier food choices. And adding exercise to your weekly routine.
The American Heart Association decked out their facilities with red banners and graphics in support of the day.
