Heritage High moves to virtual learning on Friday

RINGGOLD, Georgia (WDEF) – Heritage High is the latest school to react to growing Covid cases.

The Catoosa County superintendent announced the school is transitioning to virtual learning on just Friday.

They are expected to return to class on Monday.

Superintendent Denia Reese says they have 44 students who tested positive for Covid-19 last Thursday.

“Thank you for your understanding as we make this temporary transition.”

The Middle School switched to virtual classes today for the same reason.

The Dalton School Board this morning approved a measure requiring students from pre-k through seventh (not eligible for vaccines yet) to wear masks at school.
