Hike rescued after fall at Greenway Farms

HIXSON, Tennessee (WDEF) – Chattanooga fire teams rescue an injured hiker this evening at the Greenway Farms in Hixson.

Officials say she was on a trail when she fell about 50 feet off a bluff.

They had to use the high angle rescue team to get to the victim because of the terrain.

The hiker was eventually taken to the hospital.
