Hip-Hop Summit to be held in October
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Aspiring musicians have a chance to learn more about the hip-hop industry in a few weeks.
The Chattanooga Hip-Hop Summit will make its return on October 13-14.
The summit features multiple free workshops that will discuss how to break into the music business, features panels with established artists and producers, and a live interview with Dame Dash, who co-founded Rock-A-Fella Records with superstar Jay-Z.
Organizer Cameron “C-Grimey” Williams says this summit is a unique opportunity.
Williams said, “If you’re an artist, entrepreneur, small business owner, you name it, you want to be at the Chattanooga Hip-Hop Summit to get all of this information on the industry, what’s going on in business, what are some of the new trends, it’s free, it’s going to be people in the industry looking to network, invest, and collaborate with creatives and businesses.”
The Summit is a part of Chattanooga Hip-Hop Week that runs from October 8-th through the 14-th.
