Hixson High student found with loaded gun at school

HIXSON, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Hixson High School student gets arrested for bringing a loaded handgun to school.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says the student was searched, and the loaded gun was found in their possession.

The student was arrested and taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

They now face a charge of Carrying a Dangerous Weapon on School Grounds.
