Hixson home damaged in Friday afternoon fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The cause of a Hixson house fire Friday is currently under investigation.

The Chattanooga Fire Department says that before 6 p.m. Friday, they were called to a fire on the 900 block of Brynewood Park Drive.

They say neighbors saw flames shooting through the roof.

Luckily no one was inside, and firefighters were able to control the blaze.
