Hixson man caught in the act of allegeded rape

Frederick Zimmerman, 55, was charged with rape.

According to the arrest report, the woman was passed out when Zimmerman sexually assaulted her.
      
The victim’s male roommate reportedly walked in on the assault and physically pulled Zimmerman off the woman before kicking him out the house.

A judge set Zimmerman’s bond at $20,000.

Zimmerman has a lengthy criminal record that dates back to the late 90’s.
