Homeless Camps Forced to Move

Many of the homeless camp out behind First Baptist Church. But, with the expansion of highway 27 those people have been asked to leave.

The expansion of that highway is not just affecting those behind the church either. More of Chattanooga’s homeless community are being displaced.

The Community Kitchen, Salvation Army and the Chattanooga Rescue Mission are making sure that the homeless community has a place to go. Mustard Tree Ministries is also doing everything they can to help.
