Mugshot Katrina Haight

Katrina Haight. From Bradley County Sheriff’s Office

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Bradley County investigators have now provided the missing details from a deadly call a month ago involving an elderly couple.

When officers arrived at the home on Christian Drive on January 19, they found a 79-year-old man needing assistance outside.

Inside, there were two women, one alive and one dead.

They arrested the surviving woman, 51-year-old Katrina Haight.

On Thursday, investigators upgraded the charges against her and provided context to the case.

They now say Haight was the daughter of Patty and Terry Haight.

The sheriff’s office is charging her with attempted murder of 78-year-old Terry Haight. They are also charging her with second-degree murder of her 80-year-old mother.

Police have not yet released a motive for the crimes.
