The Humane Society aids in rescue animal recovery

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Some badly mistreated animals are now getting a new “leash” on life in the Scenic City.

A new group has just arrived after being rescued from a hoarder in Habersham County, Georgia.

News 12’s Alexandria Adams shares how the Humane society is helping them recover.

Officials say the animals should be ready for adoption in about two weeks.
