Indecent exposure at Big Chill Grill; suspect arrested
CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF) – Patrons at the rear outdoor section Big Chill Grill got more than an eyeful when a man reportedly pulled down his swimming trunks and began touching himself.
Paul Smith, 43, of Chattanooga was arrested Friday night after patrons inside the restaurant identified him as the suspect.
According to an affidavit obtained by News 12, around 10 PM Friday, police were called to the restaurant to investigate a case of alleged indecent exposure.
Patrons told officers Smith pulled down his swimming trunks and began touching himself in front of people who were in the outdoor section of the restaurant. The alleged show put on by Smith caused more patrons to come outside to see what was happening.
Police located Smith and took him into custody.
Smith was charged with indecent exposure, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $7,500 and he is due in court October 3.
Smith is no stranger to Chattanooga police. He has a criminal rap sheet two pages long with multiple criminal convictions that date back to 2009.
