Investigators say Bradley school video sent to students is not legitimate

Students got video sent to them purporting to be a sexual assault at their school

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) – Bradley County investigators say a concerning video shared among students on Monday is not legitimate.

We reached out to the Sheriff’s Department after getting calls about the video.

Students got the video purporting to be a sexual assault of a student at Bradley Central.

But investigators say it was not valid:

Based on their findings (IT experts & detectives), it seems that an inappropriate video was circulated via mass airdrop through a mobile device to multiple students at Bradley Central High School.  The investigation did confirm that the videos originating IP address was not in Bradley County.  Additionally, the video was not produced in any of our local schools in the Bradley County area, nor were there any Bradley County students in the content of the video.

Bradley County officers do not know the source of the video or the people in it.
