Jamestown Tennessee Man Charged With Murder

A Tennessee man has been charged with murder and arson in connection with a house fire last year.

47-year-old Johnathan Donavan Smith of Morgan County was indicted on one count of second-degree murder and one count of aggravated arson.

The case involves a residential fire in Grimsley on Dec. 2.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said the body of Melissa L. Durham was found inside the home.

It wasn’t clear whether Smith was represented by a lawyer.
