Jan-Michael Vincent, “Airwolf” actor, has died at age 73

Actor Jan-Michael Vincent, who starred in the 1980s show “Airwolf,” died last month, CBS News has confirmed. According to his death certificate, Vincent died of cardiac arrest Feb. 10 at a hospital in North Carolina.

Vincent was 73. He played pilot Stringfellow Hawke when “Airwolf” aired for three seasons on CBS from 1984 to 1986.

The show, about the missions of a crew of a technologically advanced military helicopter, starred a different cast when it aired on the USA Network for its fourth and final season in 1987.
